Asset-backed tokens on the Stellar network

Fractional gold, silver and oil, with real backing and public transparency

Each token equals one defined unit of an asset, and total supply never exceeds verified backing. Every issuance needs the issuer's human signers, and anyone can check supply, backing and reconciliation on Dara Scan.

Test version: assets in this environment are demonstrations without real backing.

How it works

1

Backing is verified

Asset holdings are recorded with an attestation and approved by a second person (four-eyes). An attestation counts for 35 days and must be renewed.

2

Issuance needs human signatures

The issuer account has no server key: issuing tokens needs the signature of the issuer's human signer (one person at launch), and the platform refuses any issuance above verified backing.

3

Trade against the Treasury

Buying moves existing tokens from the Treasury to your account; selling moves them back. Trading never issues or burns. Most Treasury inventory sits in a cold account that only the human signers can move.

4

Continuous reconciliation

The ledger, on-chain balances, supply and backing are reconciled regularly against one closed Stellar ledger. Any mismatch is recorded and investigated, never silently corrected.

Transparency

Dara Scan is our public explorer, reading directly from our own Stellar nodes:

  • Total supply and Treasury holdings of every asset
  • Published backing figure, attestation date and validity
  • The issuer account's signers, thresholds and flags
  • Every transfer, issuance and burn, and the latest reconciliation result

Issuer powers, stated plainly

These are regulated tokens, and the issuer holds the powers below. We do not hide them:

Trading pause

In an emergency the platform stops buying, selling and transfers immediately. Resuming takes two separate, recorded steps.

Freeze

Compliance can freeze your account; your authorization to hold the tokens is then revoked on-chain. Unfreezing needs a second officer's approval.

Clawback

By court order or for key recovery, the issuer can take tokens back. This needs the signature of the issuer's human signer (one person at launch) and is publicly visible on-chain.

Fixed asset flags

The assets are standard Stellar assets with no upgradeable smart contract. Authorization, revocation and clawback are enabled from the start and published on Dara Scan and in our stellar.toml.

Key custody

The platform holds the keys of your account (custodial). Transfers are only possible between approved Dara customers.

Privacy on a public blockchain

Stellar is public: the balances and transactions of every account are visible to anyone. Dara never publishes your name on-chain or on Dara Scan, but anyone who knows your account ID can see its balance.

Questions

What happens if Stellar is unreachable?

New trades pause; your balances and history remain visible. We never call a trade complete without settlement on Stellar.

When is a trade final?

As soon as it is applied in a closed Stellar ledger, usually within seconds. After that the network cannot reverse it.

Who pays the network fees?

Dara. Your account never needs lumens (XLM): the platform pays the account reserve and every fee.

Can I move tokens to my own wallet?

Not in this version; transfers are only between Dara customers.
